To find work in journalism, it's usually about who you know. And a good place to start schmoozing is at events sponsored by journalism groups. Last night, I got a quality dose of networking at the annual fundraising gala for the South Asian Journalists Association (SAJA). It was worth every penny of my $100 ticket.
